Acer X203H Bd 20-Inch LCD Monitor
This is a very good LCD for the price but, there is a few problems. The LCD is a little to bright. The colors in games are little low and seems to be washed out a little buy the brightness. I’ll list some of the games at the end of my review. First off I must say that I love to shop here at Amazon they ship fast and boxed my item nicely. I’ve gotten 2 of my items in 2 days after I ordered. This is my first LCD and I’m very happy for what I payed for it ([...] on sale.) When the Item came to my door I jumped up and got it right out of the ups mans hand, and set it right up. The LCD comes with the power cord, a DVI cable and, a VGA cable. So I just used the DVI cable and power cord and was ready to go. The first thing i saw was, how bright the LCD was. This is not all that bad but if you play games. You know that games has to have a good balance of colors and light. I’ve tried everything to get a good balance of colors and light but not much helped. If you like me, have a ATI or Geforce video card then you can edit the color balance from the video driver software. The LCD has buttons on the bottom of the Screen to edit the LCD picture. The buttons are very unresponsive. Sometimes you have to hit the buttons more then one time to get it to work right. It’s a pain in the butt sometimes. So just know when if you buy this LCD, that you will not get the best colors with this LCD. But you will get a very nice picture. If your using this LCD for the web then it does that very very well. Youtube and websites look good. If you are a photo person then you’ll be happy to know that photos look very good. Colors are very good in photos.

Rosetta Stone Spanish (Latin America) Level 1 With Audio Companion
I am thrilled with the results of this product. Just purchased Level 1 in the event I didn’t like it. As advertised it is based on intuition learning and I would also add that it teaches for the “visual” learner. I have never studied Spanish but I have studied French (30 years ago) and I have had a very easy transition to this Spanish program. I installed it on my Apple Mac OS/x and both CD’s installed beautifully and the software works perfect. The software comes with one license number that can used twice. I installed the software again on my teenage son’s Apple laptop and it worked like a gem. He immediately started breezing through the program and so far he is extremely happy with his results as well. I would highly recommend this software and I am thinking of purchasing one for another family member as well. The only complaint I have now is that I didn’t buy all four versions at once.

Acer AOD250-1695 10.1-Inch Blue Netbook
Glad I bought it
Use mine mainly for email, web surfing and documents. Love it! Does everything my old laptop did at half the weight and half the price. My battery lasts longer than 3 hours – a big help when traveling. Much easier when going through airport security. And, it is pretty too!
I did end up buying an external DVD drive so I could make backups, but I easily transferred files from the old computer using a thumb drive.

- I love the keyboard; the smaller size is easy for me to type on and the feel of the keys is perfect.
- Start-up and shut-down are quick. (Oddly, my machine takes longer to start-up from hibernation than from just being off. Sleep is fast.)
- Nice-looking, IMO. Fingerprints aren’t too noticeable, and can easily be wiped off with a soft rag.
- Computer & power converter stay nice & cool.
- Very easy to connect to new networks. (I’ve connected to our locked home network, a locked coffeeshop network, and a library network so far.)
- I’m running Office 2010 Beta instead of the trial version of Office 2007 or MS Works. Even with 1 gb RAM, the Acer is not slowed at all by Office 2010, and I’ve had no problems at all. An aside: even though I’m not usually fond of learning new versions of software, I like Office 2010 very much & prefer it to Office 2007.
- You Tube, Netflix, & Hulu run just fine. The only online image issue that I’ve found so far is that Yahoo mail prefers a higher resolution screen. I went back to Yahoo Classic, which I prefer anyway. All of my photographs except one look fine (not ultra-sharp but quite good), and the one just has a re-sizing problem. The resolution on this netbook is not adequate for serious photo-editing, but it’s fine for an amateur like me to play with. It would also probably be useful for a photographer who just wants a place to dump, sort, & view a ton of photos without having to haul around a heavy, expensive laptop all of the time.
